Get unstuck

What do you do when you don’t know what to do? There are three questions I want you to ask yourself.

These questions can be used as prompts for journaling or you can literally hear the answers in your head and make a decision.

  1. Whose feelings am I worried about hurting? Sometimes there’s someone you’re worried about when you’re making a decision. Who is that person and what makes you worried? Is it how they might feel as a result of your decision making?

  2. Whose opinions am I worried about hearing about? There might be people that always give you their opinion when it comes to what you’re doing. Whose opinions are you worried about the most? Your family members? Your friends? Your followers online?

  3. What would I choose if no one was watching and if everything would work out? Consider your feelings only. Forget about other people’s thoughts and feelings for a minute. What would you choose if those things didn’t matter?

Don’t overthink the answers. Write down the first think that comes up.

That’s where you need to pay attention.

It’s hard to make choices, especially when you have to consider other people. However, sometimes you have to make the hard decisions in order to create a better life for yourself now and in the future.

What will you choose?
