In this increasingly global world, you may find yourself moving cities once or twice, completely shifting continents, living a nomadic lifestyle, or even simply re-creating what home means to you in the very place you grew up. How do you navigate all of the changes that come with the transition, feel secure in your identity, and feel joy in every single day of this great adventure?

Join Rachael in the pages of her debut book to discover how to cultivate home in the place it matters most - yourself, and carry that trust anywhere your suitcase goes next.

“So, Where are you from?”

Good question. I grew up in Buffalo, New York. Currently, I live in Canada with my Husband and our Daughter.

I thought that after spending my 20’s steeped in life coaching and self-help work I’d be prepared for moving abroad. I wanted a free pass to skip any uncomfortable moments. I’d already moved apartments 12 times, cities 4 times, and countries once before (US to Canada) - so how hard could it be?

Turns out, all that inner work didn’t save me from mild depression, loss of identity, or loneliness. But it equipped me with the tools to pull myself back up and create a really awesome life - even if we could move again. In under a year, I found the routines that keep me grounded, created a powerful place for women going through the same to gather, and put all of the lessons into a book my publisher calls “the warm, cosy advice from a sister you want to listen to.”

I believe that we can be happy even when life is messy. And even if we don’t live the way we planned.

Thank you for creating such a safe space to feel all the things during this transition!

What Rachael has put together is really amazing. Moving is a topic that I don’t feel is quite out there to find quality information on. Immediately upon reading her work it was like she was reading my mind.
